JOB DESCRIPTION
Focus Area:
➤ Lead and manage all digital media channels including website, email, social media, and advertising collateral to drive sales optimization and brand awareness
➤ Get maximum ROI on budget spending and organic efforts
➤ Generate sales and acquisition of vendors and end-users through digital marketing
1. Marketing Strategy
➤ Plan the Digital Marketing strategies and schemes in accordance with the Branding and communication head
➤ Plan the marketing calendar at regular intervals with the Branding and communication Head. Ensure that all marketing communications happens in accordance with the plan.
➤ Budget planning for all Paid Marketing activities
➤ Define the marketing objectives to be achieved, and devise strategies to achieve these objectives
➤ Study/ research on latest trends in Digital Marketing & suggest strategies best-fit to the brand
➤ Proactively test new channels and tactics.
2. Digital Marketing & Community Building
➤ Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns
➤ Work throughout the lifecycle of the entire marketing process
➤ Develop a test-and-learn process for improving digital campaigns to maximize customer engagement
➤ Coordinate with Digital Marketing & Branding Agencies
➤ Devise SEO & SMM strategies for the brand
➤ Implement organic strategies for community building & engagement
➤ Collaborate with the marketing team to create go-to-market strategies
➤ Coordinate and implement marketing plans and strategies
➤ Monitor digital marketing activities and notify the progress on implementation to senior management
➤ Devise strategies along with management & Digital Marketing executives to increase revenues
➤ Develop strategies to achieve revenue targets
➤ Suggestion, recommendations, and improvisation to the management regarding different digital marketing techniques
3. Analytics
➤ Define KPIs for every paid and organic marketing campaign. Monitor and evaluate the metrics which can help analyze the achievement of these defined KPIs.
➤ Analyze fast and slow moving products. Focus on fast movers to drive sales, slow movers for liquidation. Focus on mid-movers to find new fast movers.
➤ Continually find ways to optimize ad spending to achieve the best combination of CPA and customer quality.
➤ Keep a close eye on monthly spends pacing and adjust where necessary.
➤ Monitor ads performance and take decisions best fit to the situation
➤ Submit data-driven reports to Top Level Management for performance evaluation of marketing efforts
4. Content Strategy:
➤ Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing content
➤ Work closely with Graphic designer & Content Manager in the strategy and development of posts/ campaigns for social media marketing
➤ Work closely with the creative team (graphic designer & content writer) to design content for communicating the offers, discounts to ensure brand guidelines are followed
5. Customer Experience Enhancement
➤ Work proactively and bring new ideas to constantly improve customer engagement based on customer behaviour, market latest trends and competitor study
➤ Must have an in-depth understanding of the marketplace, our competitors and our target groups not only gauge their online user experience trends but also understand their lifestyle trends, demographics, and behaviour
➤ Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
➤ Understand our fast movers and slow movers and make digital marketing strategies accordingly
6. Coordination with Agencies
➤ Appoint and collaborate with different agencies & freelancers like creative agencies, content writers, advertising agencies, etc.
➤ Get things done from these agencies/ freelancers within deadlines and do regular review meetings
➤ Do performance mapping of the agencies & freelancers and report it to the management team
7. Cross-Functional Activities
➤ Work with the Ecommerce team to understand market trends
➤ Closely work with various teams to ensure successful New Product/ Collection/ Brand Launch/ Offer Launch
➤ Areas where there shall be a direct involvement along with colleagues/ team members:
● New product/ category launch,
● Product catalogue update,
● New offer/ festive launch,
● Product/ Offers positioning on e-store,
➤ Collaborate with Ecommerce team for selection of products for marketing campaigns and promotional offers
➤ Closely work with finance/ accounts team to ensure budgets are on-track
