The Advanced Acoustics Cloud9 100cm Wall Mounted Designer Acoustic Panel is a large-format circular acoustic panel from the Advanced Acoustics Designer Range. The circular format provides a soft, organic contrast to rectangular wall surfaces and rectilinear interior schemes, and the 100cm diameter makes it the most visually impactful format in the Cloud9 range. The panel consists of a 25mm open-cell acoustic foam core mounted on a rigid 6mm MDF backing board, wrapped in a 100% recycled open-weave polyester cloth available in 31 colours.

The Cloud9 100cm has a diameter of 1000mm, providing 0.78m² of absorption per panel — the largest coverage of any Cloud9 format. The large circular format is suited to feature wall installations, open-plan environments, and hospitality spaces where a bold visual statement is required alongside effective acoustic absorption. The 25mm foam core achieves NRC 0.75 (Sound Absorption Class C), providing effective absorption of mid and high frequencies appropriate for controlling speech-frequency reverberation in office and commercial environments.

• Large-format feature wall installations. The 100cm diameter makes this the statement format in the Cloud9 range. A single panel creates an immediate focal point on a wall surface; a composed arrangement of multiple 100cm panels, or a mixed-size cluster combining 100cm, 80cm, and 60cm formats, creates a large-scale acoustic feature wall with significant visual impact and meaningful absorption coverage.
• Open-plan offices — reverberation and echo control. Install on walls to reduce reverberation time and improve speech intelligibility. The 100cm Cloud9 provides 0.78m² of absorption per panel, making it the most efficient Cloud9 format for achieving target coverage areas with fewer panels and fixing points. The 25mm foam core achieves NRC 0.75 (Sound Absorption Class C), with strong absorption from 500Hz upward: 0.65 at 500Hz, 0.94 at 1000Hz, 1.13 at 2000Hz, and 0.99 at 4000Hz. Installation

Mark the fixing position on the wall using the panel diameter as a guide. Ensure fixing positions are located on solid wall structure or appropriate noggins — do not fix into plasterboard alone without appropriate cavity fixings. Due to the panel size, two people are recommended for installation.

For mirror plate fixing: screw the mirror plate to the wall at the marked position using appropriate fixings for the wall construction, and hang the panel on the mirror plate. Check that the panel is level before finalising the fixing position.

For cluster arrangements combining multiple Cloud9 sizes, plan the composition on paper or digitally before marking fixing positions on the wall. Use a tape measure to set out the centre points of each panel accurately before drilling.
