How to Create a Shopify Partner Account (Step-by-Step)

Step 01: As this is our first time creating a Shopify Partner account, we’ll begin by selecting the Join Now button. This initiates the account creation process, allowing us to access the features and benefits available to Shopify Partners.

Step 02: Next, proceed by selecting the Sign Up with Email option at the top. This will guide you through the initial steps of setting up your Shopify Partner account.

Step 03: Then, enter your official email address, first name, last name, and a strong password. Once your details are complete, click the Create Shopify Account button to proceed

Step 04: Next, you will be directed to a new window. To continue, select the first option, Create and set up a new partner organization, to initiate the setup for your partner account.

Step 05: Then, check the option Provide services for existing business and click Next to proceed.

Step 06: Next, select your country and state, then proceed to the next step.

Step 07: Next, fill in the required details: enter your business name, followed by your job title. Then, provide your address, city, and postal code. Your official email will be auto-filled, so all that's left is to enter your phone number. Review and accept the agreement, then click on the Create Partner Organization button. Once completed, your account will be successfully created, and you will be directed to the Shopify Partner dashboard.

Step 08: Once you access the dashboard, you will need to verify your official email. To do this, click on the Resend Verification Email button. Then, open your official email inbox and locate the verification email. Follow the instructions in the email to complete the verification process.

Your new Shopify Partner account has now been successfully created.

How to Request Access to a Shopify Store

Step 01: After creating your Shopify Partner account, navigate to the Shopify Partner dashboard and click on the Stores option

Step 02: Click on "Add Store" button

Step 03: then click on " Request access to store"

Next, to access the Shopify store,

Step 04: Enter the store's name or URL.

Step 05: If the store requires a collaboration code, reach out to the store owner to obtain it, then enter the code.

Step 06: ensure that you select all relevant store activities before proceeding.

By clicking the Request Access Store button, you will send a collaboration request. Once the store owner approves your request, you will gain access and be able to join the store.
